FORMAT FOR ABSTRACTS

1. Abstract must be in MS Word and not exceeding 250 words
2. Use font size 11-point Arial and 1” (2.5cm) margins
3. Titles to be in bold capital letters, 3 cm from top of page, followed by the author(s) and their affiliations. Title heading should be centred
4. Double space between heading and beginning of the abstract
5. Single space the abstract with no space between paragraphs
6. Include the title, author(s), objective of study, results and discussion, and conclusion in a single paragraph
7. At the end of the abstract, please provide contact details of author(s) with the following information (although the online submission system will also request for some of these information when you sign in, you are kindly requested to also provide the following details on the abstracts) :

   a. Name of author (s)
   b. Email Address (including alternative emails if available)
   c. Organisation Name
   d. Your Designation
   c. Full Correspondence Address
   d. Telephone contact numbers (office and mobile)

HOW TO SUBMIT ABSTRACTS

STEP 1 – Account Sign Up :

1. Go to log-in page HERE
2. Follow instructions on the page
3. An email with the confirmation link will be sent to the email address that you filled in the sign up page. Click on the confirmation link which will bring you to the “Web Form” to set up your account
4. Complete your particulars in the “Web Form”, this is also where you create a “Username” and “Password”. Keep your username and password for future log ins
5. Click on the button “Create Account” at the bottom of the web form to submit your form and your account is set-up.

STEP 2 – To Submit Abstract to Water Loss Asia 2012:

1. Login HERE with your “username” and “password”. Bookmark this page
2. On the top bar, click on "New Submission"
3. Follow the instructions on the page
4. Once you have clicked submit, please do not close the window until it has finished loading
5. When your submission has successfully been uploaded to the system; please log-out of your account and close the window.
