On behalf of the Thai Waterworks Association, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Water Loss Asia 2012 Conference and Exhibition. Scheduled to commence from 3 – 5 October in Bangkok, this will be the 3rd edition of the event. It is indeed an honor for us to be the host country for the event and we bid you a warm welcome to Thailand.
Water is an irreplaceable source of life and with the rapid expansion of the Asian economy and population growth there is tremendous pressure to ensure that this resource is carefully monitored and managed. We are aware that water loss management and the strategies of the urban utilities is always challenging. In Asia we have made progress in NRW but it is important to always stay focused and keep improving our technologies and methodologies.
Water Loss Asia 2012 is set to present new technologies, solutions and strategies in water loss management in Asian countries and beyond. It is at events like WLA that we gather together to share our knowledge and resources to deliver strategies, solutions and outcomes to manage water loss. The exhibition will also be the showcase for the water industry companies to present their latest equipment and technologies to a targeted audience of trade visitors.
We at the Thai Waterworks Association look forward to meeting the water loss management experts, key policy makers, top water industry leaders, exhibitors, conference delegates and trade visitors from regional and international countries.
